I am so excited to share my ambitions and work with all of you, and with this cast of dancers that i am grateful to call friends. So please join us, care, share the event with EVERYONE, and spare some of your time :)
Here are some of my thoughts on this new work:
In space and time we have the power to choose, response, and react. In these actions we find the potential for growth and more importantly decision making. Our experiences, accumulation of data, and the weight of the past heavily defines our present. However we cant carry everything ahead with us, or the weight will never allow us to propel forward. "Things I Forgot @ Birth" revolves around these moments that we leave behind and our continuous EFFORT for this never ending need for development and fulfillment. At the beginning we are faced with unlimited possibilities, and as we make progress we have to decide what is NOT, what was lost and what was found, what we shed off in order to move forward.
